Background of the Company
Zibuko Capital Private Limited is a registered non-deposit-taking microfinance institution operating under the regulation
and supervision of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ). Established in 2016, the company seeks to address the financial needs of underserved individuals, small businesses, and informal sector entrepreneurs. The company has become a trusted financial partner by providing accessible, ethical, and responsive financial solutions across multiple provinces. The name “Zibuko,” is derived from the Shona word for “bridge,” and reflects the company’s commitment to bridging the financial access gap for economically active but financially excluded communities.

Thembelihle Mloyi- Ncube
Chairperson
A well-respected academic and microfinance specialist with a long-standing track record in development finance, gender inclusion, and financial empowerment. As Chairperson, she brings thought leadership and social accountability to the board.
Dzika Danha
Non- Executive Director
An investment executive and entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in pan African financial services and development investment. Dzika contributes strategic insight and investment governance to the board.
Lloyd Mlotshwa
Non-Executive Director
A capital markets expert with deep experience in financial analysis, equity markets, and investment banking. He supports financial strategy, compliance, and investor engagement.
Laura Bezuidenhout

Laura has a strong banking background with expertise in institutional controls, credit governance, and operational resilience. She plays a critical role in strengthening internal systems and customer protection.

Chipo is the Founder and Managing Director for Providence Human Capital, a corporate services management firm on its journey towards becoming an Integral Enterprise providing total solutions in Payroll Management, Human Resource management, Staffing, Health and Wellness programs.
Simbarashe Jerahuni
Managing Director
Simba is a seasoned banker with vast experience in strategic planning, credit risk management, and branch network expansion. Simbarashe has been pivotal in positioning Zibuko as a credible and innovative microfinance institution.
